We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Anything outside of this will forfeit their deposit.

We request with all services over $100 a deposit request of $100, this is sent via a payment link to your email upon booking. This comes off the final amount on the day and is fully refundable when your booking is moved or cancelled outside of our 48 hour policy. Bookings that are unsecured and have not been allocated their deposit are automatically removed from our system after 24 hours.

This protects our business from no-shows and late cancellations, ensuring we aren’t turning other clients away.

Bookings made that are less than $100 require payment upfront.

Our premium OWAY colour is low toxin and ammonia free. This provides the perfect balance between ensuring you have long lasting, immaculate results, whilst maintain the integrity of the hair and using gentle products which cause no irritation to sensitive scalps and hair.

We are open Monday 10-5pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 10-6pm, Thursday 11-9pm, Friday 10-7pm & Saturday 9-5pm

Neither of these two fantastic products will cause any damage or hair fall to your hair. Should your hair be extremely damaged or already in a fragile condition before you visit us, your stylist will recommend an appropriate rebuilding treatment before you do anything else to your hair. In some cases when the hair is fragile it is best not to perform any altering service such as colour, keratin or QIQI.

Yes, we offer online booking for all our services – simply click this link https://bookings.gettimely.com/privehairorganics/bb/book *Please note online booking requires 50% deposit for all bookings, when booking directly through us we only require a $100 deposit.

We pride ourselves on providing an experience for each and every client, this means more time is taken than usual per service. Due to demand and less time being available we recommend booking a minimum of 2 weeks in advance for shorter services and 4 weeks in advance for longer services to ensure you can have the time and date that best suits you.

All of our retail range, styling range, keratin and refreshments in salon are organic. Our colour and QIQI is low toxin and ammonia free. No harmful chemicals, additives, parabens or sulphates are used in any of our products.

Due to the gentle nature of all our products all our products are extremely safe, and we consider suitable for everyone, including breastfeeding and pregnant women. With this being said we are unable to provide medical advice and if you have any concerns we recommend speaking to your GP.

We provide a complimentary hair and scalp analysis with all our scalp rituals. This means you will be prescribed the correct ritual by your stylist post analysis. If you are booking online, simply select “scalp detox” this will allow enough time for whatever ritual you require.

We have different prices for all our keratin, QIQI and blow dry services which are applicable to hair length. Should you require extra product during a colour service, you will be notified of this and given a quote after your consultation before the service begins.

Absolutely lovely first time experience at Prive' in South Melbourne. Welcoming vibe as soon as you arrive (smells amazing!), venue is gorgeous, great location and staff are lovely and knowledgeable. Thank you to Natasha and Victoria who looked after me and my 4 hrs of hair lightening flew by before I even knew it! I left feeling fabulous after indulging on a welcoming massage, their amazing in house menu, another massage at the basin and my hair is the best its ever been with the organic products used. Cant wait to go back! :)

I love everything about Prive Hair Organics! All of the staff made me feel welcome right away and I loved the welcome drink. I am letting my greys grow out and was feeling pretty bad about my hair. Neither Natasha nor Rob made me second guess my choice and instead went out of their way to make a plan that had me walking out with my grey hairs still in tact but with a new shine and a gorgeous cut that had me feeling like a new lady. I have been having my hair done for just over 12 months and absolutely love my visits to Prive' Hair Organics. When I first arrived, the lovely Jade took me under her wing and my hair has never looked or felt better. It was extremely thin when I first arrived due to a previous hairdresser recommending extensions which continued to break off and left me with bald patches all around my hairline. With Jade's expert advice I started a treatment to encourage growth and my hair is now fuller and thicker than it's ever been. The service is 5* and all staff are wonderful, the premises is spotless and the products are all organic. Thank you Jade for taking care of me and helping me regain my lovely hair and for your massages which are magic. So look forward to each of my appointments. xxx

A truly pleasant experience with absolutely amazing individuals. It was wonderful to finally understand my hair better and receive proper treatment. I had excellent service upon arrival and felt fantastic after leaving. I highly recommend.(Side note: they got my extremely straight hair to finally hold a curl!)

I saw Laura for a trim and highlights and I am so pleased to have finally found a salon and stylist I’m happy to go back to. I received a warm welcome from the rest of the team and enjoyed my complimentary mimosa and snacks (all organic) and the scalp massages made my day.I felt very heard and understood when discussing what I wanted to achieve with my hair and am very happy with the results. 10/10 service and I will be bringing my partner with me next time. :)

Can't express enough how amazing everyone was at Prive hair organics. I'd been only a week prior to have my hair done some where else and it got ruined. Prive were amazing at understanding exactly what I was wanting and gave great advice and fixed my hair back to its soft, shiny, lighter self and I can't thank them enough on the result. Highly recommend Prive Hair organics.

I don’t often Google review places — but I have to say, this was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a salon. You ~ A B S O L U T E L Y ~ get what you pay for. Wine and welcome massage upon arrival, quick but very thought out colouring. Friendly staff from beginning to end. I had Rachel; she was professional but fun to spend a few hours with. She nailed my hair colour (dark blonde) that I’ve been struggling elsewhere trying to achieve! Happy! Will be back!!

Such an amazing experience. I appreciate all the little things at this hair salon, from the massage before you get your hair washed/cut/dyed, beverages (you can choose from cocktails, teas, wines, health shots). It’s all the little things that add up. And of course you receive quality care for your hair from the hairdressers who are very knowledgeable!

An amazing top class salon with luxurious elements such as a welcome head and shoulder massage and sometimes an organic hand scrub! The stylists are so friendly, professional and skillful. The interior design is modern with comfortable chairs and with a bar! There is a comprehensive drinks list with organic juice shots, a range of coffees and cocktails. The products used are organic including the hair colour. 5 stars from me!

What a great experience - I had my first appointment today and I felt so pampered. The salon is calming and relaxing and their expertise is incredible. I took their advice (in the best way to fix an incomplete hair color I recently had done by a different salon). I absolutely love the outcome and feel like me again! 100% happy! They were an absolute joy and friendly. I definitely recommend any of the stylists and I’ll be a returning customer. Extremely satisfied and thankful. HH

My favorite hair salon. My hair has grown so long and is at it's healthiest from going here. They treat it with the best products and make sure it's kept healthy.The salon itself is such a beautiful environment. I love the organic wine they serve. I have found it hard to find the right hairdresser in Melbourne, and was tired of spending $$$ so much trying to find the right one. Well I found it! Honestly such an amazing experience! I have been to all different sites and Prive Hair in South Melbourne is absolutely beautiful, equally as much as the staff. They were so welcoming, professional and always checked in to make sure you were comfortable unlike some places where you feel as though you’ve been forgotten. I loved it so much so that I’m going back despite me living on the other side of the city. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Staff, venue and service 10/10

The team at Privé provide a great experience. I have had two lots of “great lengths” bonded extensions, and I love them. The colour match was perfect for my red hair. The team is knowledgeable and haven’t pushed products or services that I haven’t asked for or don’t need. Everyone at the salon is super friendly, I watched interactions with a wide range of clients and they treat everyone with care.
